Tri-County Ensembles are coming back this April! The course will offer a Fusion band for Woodwind and Brass only, a String ensemble and a Choir.

The workshops and rehearsals will take place at Ysgol Bryn Alyn, Wrexham from 09:00 – 16:00 on Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th, and Wednesday 16th April 2025 (with a concert for friends and family at the Rhos STIWT Theatre). 

The ensembles will be led by tutors from Denbighshire Music Co-operative, Wrexham Music Co-operative, and Theatr Clwyd Music in Flintshire. 

A reminder that you’ll need to be in school year 6 to year 13 (ages 10 – 18) to take part and the standard required is grade 3 and above. and you don’t have to have taken any exams (your music teacher should be able to give you some guidance if you are unsure). 

The Tri-County Ensembles are a partnership between Denbighshire Music Co-operative, Wrexham Music Co-operative, and Theatr Clwyd Music Trust (Flintshire), If you live or go to school outside of these counties you are still welcome to apply for a place. 

There is no charge for the workshops, although there will be a small charge for concert tickets. 

The deadline to apply is (31/03/25). We will let you know if your application has been successful by (03/04/25). We’ll be collecting more detailed information from all the participating young musicians but if there is anything you would like to let us know at this stage, please use the box at the bottom of the form.
